A step-by-step guide to your baby's circumcision appointment

Total Appointment Time
Approximately 60-90 minutes
We recommend allowing up to 90 minutes for your visit. This includes check-in, preparation, the procedure, recovery time, and receiving aftercare instructions.
Your Appointment Timeline
Check-in & Welcome
Arrive 10 minutes early to complete any paperwork. Our friendly staff will greet you and make you comfortable.
Pre-Procedure Assessment
Dr Alsayed will examine your baby, confirm health status, and answer any final questions you may have.
Preparation & Anaesthetic
We apply topical numbing cream followed by local anaesthetic injection. Your baby will be kept warm and comfortable.
The Procedure
The circumcision is performed using the selected method (Mogen clamp or Plastibell). Where both methods are clinically appropriate, parental preference can be considered. The procedure itself is quick.
Recovery & Observation
Your baby rests while we monitor them. This is a good time to feed and comfort your baby.
Aftercare Instructions
We provide detailed written and verbal aftercare instructions, answer questions, and include a follow-up consultation as part of the circumcision fee.
